WM5H AT SUNRISE IN THE SOUTH NEW MEXICO DESERT

2016 JUNE VHF CONTEST

In June of 2016 while in New Mexico staying with my mother I went down to Grid Square DM51, which is located in the southwest corner of New Mexico, the southeast corner of Arizona, and part of the grid is in Mexico. I operated from a hill top near Animas, New Mexico. Grid Square DM51 is fairly rare as there are not many hams located in it. My score was 4,717, I operated as a Single Operator, Low Power, I placed 3rd in New Mexico Section, and 7th in the Rocky Mountain Division.

Certificate from ARRL
